HOW TO FIND US ON PIER 39

Wharf Research is located on Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, at the intersection of Embarcadero and Beach. Walk to the end of the Pier, and stay to the left as you pass the Carousel. We're in the back left corner, next to the gallery.

PARKING

There is ample parking at the Pier 39 garage or at one of the many lots on Fisherman's Wharf, and the entrance to Pier 39 features a passenger and taxi loading zone. The Pier 39 garage is located directly across the street from the Entrance Plaza, and is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

DIRECTIONS TO OUR FACILITY

From the South Bay

Take Highway 101 North to Highway 80 East
Exit at 4th Street
Stay left onto Bryant Street (get in right lane)
Stay on Bryant Street to The Embarcadero
Turn left onto The Embarcadero (get into right lane)
Straight to Pier 39 (2 1/2 miles)

From the North Bay

Take Highway 101 South across the Golden Gate Bridge
Pass through the Toll Plaza and stay to your left
Take Lombard Street Exit (on right side)
Follow Lombard Street to Van Ness Avenue
Take a left onto Van Ness Avenue (stay right)
Follow Van Ness Avenue to Bay Street (about three blocks)
Stay on Bay Street until it runs into The Embarcadero
Turn left onto The Embarcadero
You will see Pier 39 on right side of the street

From the East Bay

Take Interstate 80 West across the Bay Bridge
Take Fremont Exit (on right side)
Veer left, but stay in right lane of the left V.
Turn right on Howard (first light)
Follow Howard to The Embarcadero
Turn left onto The Embarcadero
Follow the Embarcadero Pier 39 (aprox. 2 miles)

From Oakland Airport - about 30 mins (up to 55 mins in traffic)

Head southeast on Airport Dr
Slight right to stay on Airport Dr
Continue on 98th Ave
Merge onto I-880 N via the ramp to Oakland
Continue on CA-880 N (signs for I-80/San Francisco)
Merge onto I-80 W
Take the Fremont St exit
Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Folsom St
Turn left at Folsom St
Turn left at The Embarcadero
Continue straight to stay on The Embarcadero
You will see Pier 39 on right side of the street

From San Francisco Airport

From the Domestic Terminal Exit, veer slightly right to the Airport Exit.
Keep left, and take US-101 N (follow signs for I-280/San Jose/I-380/San Francisco/US-101)
Merge onto US-101 N via the ramp to San Francisco
Take the exit onto I-280 N
Continue on King St
Continue on The Embarcadero
Continue straight to stay on The Embarcadero
You will see Pier 39 on right side of the street

Public Transportation

Pier 39 is easily accessible by public transportation, including the F Line, which runs along the Embarcadero.
